So today, I found another house. Mind you, I've only seen photos and have zero idea of what horrors I may find, but the price is right, the garage is large, and it's in the best area of any house I've found thus far. Should I hope it will be great? Probably not. I have more important things to do, like find a washing machine so I can have clean clothes.

Survivor: South Hampton

We have successfully voted Mark off the island. As of January 1st, he is required to be out of the house, and life should return to semi normal for now, and then tolerable by that date. With any luck, he will find a place and be out for December 1st. Be interesting to see what he thinks we owe him now that he's moving out. While he was staying here, we supposedly owed him $700 for the pool, even though all parts/paint/chemicals were always divided equally. I'll just bet there's a Van Gogh he says we stole from him somewhere.

Real World: South Hampton

It's what happens when one of your roomates, who is a pot-smoking hippie who happens to be unemployed and have way too much time on his hands, goes psycho over the temperature of the pool. It all came crashing down tonight as the other five of us, who don't get along famously by any means, united against a common irrationality, and called the owner to ask him to remove Mark. You can't live in fear of having your property or person damaged by an irrational lunatic, and he's thus far today ripped out our washing machine, torn apart the pool plumbing, drained the hot tub, and started draining the 14,000 gallons of pool water into the septic system. Awesome. I understand the guy has money problems (which could be solved with say a job and smoking less pot) and that he has emotional/family problems, but he's not going to violate our collective five rights to live peacefully. James put a stop to his nonsense tonight, especially the "ripping everything apart" mess, and we'll see where things go forward from here. Things (Mark) need to go forward (away) and life will be back to semi normal. I'm not saying I'd purposely run him over or anything (though he tried to do the very same to one of the people here the other day) but if he did die in a horrible plane/train/boat/tricycle accident, I would certainly follow the "de mortuis nil nisi bonum" philosophy. I wouldn't want to waste any energy on him you understand.
