We had our first snowfall of the season today- about 2 weeks too early by normal standards. Once again, I give the double deuce to folks who perpetuate this global warming and ozone hole crap. We haven't been recording or monitoring things nearly long enough to deduce trends from what has happened over the past 3 decades or so- that's shorter than a fart in geological terms- shorten even than a long, wet fart. Eh. Reality doesn't make money, but scare tactics do, and most of the populace is like a giant herd of sheep, devouring and repeating whatever they see, hear, or read in print as if it were gospel, despite the source. Maybe I'm just down and cynical, thinking about the upcoming season of dormancy of nearly everything green and vibrant, but I suppose winter has it's charms. I can live vicariously thorough places like Key West Webcams and wish I was in Mallory Square, eating cheeseburgers and drinking margaritas with my messiah Jimmy Buffet.
