We got the first real snow of the year tonight, and I think I set a record as well. I bought my first set of dedicated snow tires this year, instead of running on all-seasons- a set of Hakkapelita 1's. The people in Finland really know how to make a snow tire! The record I set is a "personal best" record. I was playing in the Park and Ride parking lot, 'testing the properties of my new winter tires officer' and was promptly 'suggested' to find whiter, snowier pastures. So I drove around a bit, in the general direction of Wendy's- got pulled over twice (by two different town's PD) for 'driving in a manner unsafe for the present conditions.' Now, I wasn't speeding (too much) for the posted limit, just having a good time in the snow. Two verbal warnings later and I'm on my way. One last blast through the Park and Ride on the way home satiated my appetite for slideways driving for a little bit, so here I sit eating my Wendy's Chicken Nuggets and a side salad with "House Vinagrette" dressing. Call it Italian Wendy's... don't overglorify what it is...
